The good news is that you're not going to have to find yourselves in any weird clothes this time around, except maybe that just leads to a strange sense of foreboding for a future scenario...? Who knows. You can't quite brace yourself for it this time.

But don't worry, it's not like there's nothing happening. On the contrary!

For the entirety of this week, you'll find yourself feeling... clingy. It's going to start feeling very strange if you're not leaning on someone, holding their hand, cuddling with them, sitting in their lap, stealing a kiss, or engaging in some other form of affectionate physical contact. And if it's someone you're already feeling fond of OR someone you actually can't stand, guess what?

That feeling is doubled!

[ Oh dear. Chaos is breaking out in some other part of the blanket fort, and now this. In a way, Yukong is relieved that Ori isn't having to process everything that's happened, too far into her cups for much of it to register. She's just turned into a sappy drunk, which checks out with everything else Yukong knows about her.

It's simple enough for her to hear her out, even if her attention is partially distracted by what's unfolding between Brenner and Xianyun.

But then the crying starts, and Yukong's natural nurturing instincts come to the forefront as she moves over (on her hands and knees, for little better option) to set a bracing hand on Ori's back. ]

[ This man, accused of murder? It beggars belief, but clearly he was falsely accused. Which seems to be something that happens to Phoenix, even from his childhood. What rotten luck.

But then he continues on, the details only mounting, and Yukong takes a few moments to blink in confusion. ]

[ If Yukong speaks up now, she knows that it couldn't be counted as anything other than derailing. She therefore stays out of the main discussion, watching from a distance on a nearby couch. She's switched out her tea for some kind of alcohol, though. ]

I will only say this. I do think that there was a purpose to the secrets that came to light. It's certainly helped solidify people's opinions about each other.

[ Maybe now people will waffle less over who they do or don't like...

Beyond that, though, she'll listen in on the deliberations and only chat if spoken to directly, until she and Aurelia retire to their suite. ]

That is... quite a lot to process, even for someone as level-headed with Zhongli. It's possible he just needed some time to think it through before he discussed it with you. I don't think he's the sort of person who will write you off without talking everything through.

[ As much as she has her own questions about all of it, this isn't about her right now, so she bites her tongue for now. ]

[ It's not the first time that their faces have been perhaps a little too close. The very first time they met, when Yukong helped Ori free herself from that bush, it had been the same.

She's glad that when Ori wakes, it's peacefully, and that she hasn't startled her. Though the words she speaks makes Yukong wonder if she's still half-dreaming. ]

Hmm? [ She tilts her head, but for some reason, she hasn't stopped stroking Ori's hair. ] What was that?

[ While Yukong isn't quite sure how that works, she is amused, hiding a laugh behind her palm. ]

I might say Mithra or Oz, but I don't think they would take kindly to a curse, and then we would have an entirely different problem on our hands.

For all that she has worked to keep you all organized, it seems to me she has spoken very little of who might be a good match for her. Perhaps because she can't decide herself...
