I suppose that's true... All things considered I don't think it's so terrible if we don't win. Wishes from Riri seem ill advised at best and most everyone I've met has been someone worthwhile and unique. Anything found is a blessing in and of itself.

Whatever these possible matches are really don't hold a candle to what's already been found.

He has stardust eyes and a whimsical spirit. Teeth sharp like a dragon with wings downy soft. So much of him is golden, a color and element I am familiar with. And as a God myself, with a penchant for hoarding treasures, I simply wish to keep him. Wrap him up in contracts and ink to bind him.

I won't, of course... I have learned long ago not to chain those you cherish in such things. Anything given should be done freely. And when all this is said and done and we must return to our respective lands I will simply have faith that he will find a way to me. That the dreams he has crafted here will guide him back.

As for how it feels... It feels as it always does in these moments of infatuation, slowly building into something more. It's joyous and full of hope. The heavy pressure of loneliness dissipates with each moment... The world is brighter. More colorful. Everything is a touch sweeter. Like savoring a warm cup of freshly brewed tea but this time... I feel like the flavor will last. It does not need to be savored. One could gulp greedily as it will be there come the morrow and many many years after.

[ Ori is as attentive as she possibly can be given her current state, though the longer Zhongli goes on, the more she finds herself wanting to wind her arms around the man as she listens, gripping his shoulders.

And is she insane, or is he legitimately getting a little kinky about how he talks about what he wants to do to Lucifer...???

Anyway- what he continues to build on is such a heartwarming feeling, a painting of something so sublime that's escaped Ori for quite some time now, that freeing feeling of falling for someone for the very first time.

She'd gone into all of this thinking, maybe even hoping that nothing would really come out of it other than a wish and a few new friends. But when she hears all that Zhongli says...

...She doesn't know. All she really knows is that she is so irrevocably moved by it all, that she has no recourse other than to start weeping. It's fine. ]

[Oh, sweet Ori... When she starts crying he stops because you bet he had more to say. He wraps his arms around her in an attempt to soothe whatever surge of emotion he's caused her.]
