The good news is that you're not going to have to find yourselves in any weird clothes this time around, except maybe that just leads to a strange sense of foreboding for a future scenario...? Who knows. You can't quite brace yourself for it this time.

But don't worry, it's not like there's nothing happening. On the contrary!

For the entirety of this week, you'll find yourself feeling... clingy. It's going to start feeling very strange if you're not leaning on someone, holding their hand, cuddling with them, sitting in their lap, stealing a kiss, or engaging in some other form of affectionate physical contact. And if it's someone you're already feeling fond of OR someone you actually can't stand, guess what?

That feeling is doubled!

You may realize this is an unusual feeling, but so what? Trying to ignore it is only going to make it feel stronger and do you really want to make yourselves feel miserable?

[Zhongli doesn't do public displays of affection save for some hand holding. It simply isn't done and he also has old sensibilities. But there is an urge. And when strange sensations are afoot in this castle it's best to stay away from everyone else. That's how he's decided to handle all of this.

But with Lucifer he'll allow it and easily. He closes his eyes for a moment as the Devil sweetly nuzzles into his cheek and he contently leans into the gesture of affection, taking his cup back and setting it to the side.]

[He wraps an arm around Lucifer, keeping him close to his side. It's chilly on the rooftops and while the cold doesn't bother him he's not sure of Lucifer's constitution. Though, as a divine angel and devil he's also probably fine. But at the heart of this gesture is just the desire to hold the other.]

Life is not completely full of happy moments. There is loss and strife in all who live within the world. Surely you were not estranged in the beginning. And it doesn't sound like you're estranged now.

I have no children of my own. I am not like Xianyun who collected disciples to look after. My position made that a rather tricky option. And those that I have bound to contract still act with unnecessary reverence to this day. But so many here have children... I can't say I am envious, exactly. But I know that I look forward to doting on Charlie as if I was one.

The comment surprises him to his very core. And knowing how important Charlie is to Lucifer, how much he's trying to repair their bond and reconnect that is quite the gesture and invitation.
