WEEK THREE SCENARIO
ᯓ⭐ WEEK THREE SCENARIO
Today, you will find those signs from last week all over the castle, big red arrows, bright blinking arrows, bold black arrows, all leading you down a corridor to That Golden Door Again.
And there's the sign!
Should you choose to enter, you'll find yourself in the role of a fairy-tale character! All of the classics, maybe some you've never heard before, but it's the same as before. Sort of. You're now in an outfit befitting of your character, the NPCs still have cursed Riri Voices, and some of you may be... well, stuck in some predicaments! Some of you might even have changed forms entirely!
So why not help your homies out? Why not give them a Happily Ever After?
Because you still can't olly out until you get through a scenario, even if that means waiting for someone to kiss you. :)
Once you've achieved a scenario, thinking of leaving the setting entirely will get you back in the castle.
Among the list of scenarios are the following, though players are welcome to also come up with their own:
- Attend The Ball with someone
- Safely make it to Grandmother's House
- Escape the Witch's Candy House
- Free Rapunzel from her tower
- Kiss the sleeping princess
- Kiss the frog
- Just Fucking Kiss
- Perform an underwater musical! (You can breathe, it's fine)
- Conspire to poison someone!
- Save someone from being poisoned!
- Have a dramatic sword fight!
- Do a knightly declaration of love!
And so on.
You can act out the scenarios pertaining to your roles or you know what, maybe Red Riding Hood was evil all along and the Fairy Godmother decided to do a dramatic sword fight, we're not here to judge.

He stirs when someone draws near—not because he's on the cusp of waking, but because of an urge in his heart. Once they're within his range, he rolls over, abandoning the pillow, and loops his arms around anywhere he can blindly reach to drag them into bed with him. He holds onto them as a child would a teddy bear while he slumbers on, blissfully unaware of everything around him.]

Ribbit.
[ How did the frog prince get here? Don't worry about it. Enjoy something slimy in your hands instead, Mithra... ]

In other words, he tightens his grip to ensure the frog doesn't slip out of his grasp as he makes himself comfortable. He tucks his slimy visitor against his cheek, and it satisfies a doubled urge that he smiles in his sleep.]

Uh... Hello, Princess? [ A beat. ] Oh, right, you probably can't hear me...
[ ...she pokes at his cheek with slimy froggy hands, just because. ]

Haha . . .

She wonders if he's... actually sleeping, like this. Given how little of it he gets otherwise, maybe... it's best to just leave him be like this for the time being...?
Maybe she'll just settle in against his cheek, then. Just for now. ]

The texture of mucous is nothing to the rhythmic rise and fall against his face. No matter how minute, it's more than the stillness with which he grew up. The part of him that hadn't known the affectionate touch of another being for years thrills from the tingling cool, and his smile widens as he settles against the numerous sheets and pillows on the bed.
Mithra isn't conscious, but his heart knows. When this person is here, regardless of whether or not she laughs at him for bizarre reasons, he's a little less lonely.]
falls to my knees... why is this soft
Needless to say, she's happy to hang around like this, though the longer this goes, the more worried she gets that she might literally be stuck as a frog for the rest of the game if she doesn't kiss someone before all of these scenarios conclude...
What should she do!! ]
because she's awake and he's unconscious,
While Oriphi agonizes over what to do, Mithra catches up on the sleep that's long been denied of him. The deeper his slumber, the more his face relaxes until his smile turns light. They'll both have to return sooner than later, though; much as he'd like to, he can't sleep forever.]

She does seem to wait until the last possible moment, though, whatever that may mean, whether she simply reaches the end of her patience or because the sun is beginning to set in this strange place.
All to say, uh... have a little froggy chu! ]

Sleeping Beauty and the Frog Prince share a kiss, thereby fulfilling the conditions of their respective predicaments. Something strange happens, and Mithra's awakening is natural and comfortable as his eyes flutter open. Still dazed from the curse he'd been under until now, he doesn't quite process what's going on yet.
How does Oriphi fare?]
no subject
How Oriphi fares is that, with a momentary gleaming of magic that envelops her and changes shape until the shape is considerably more tiefling-like, she turns back into herself, though with a very princely attire, and a crown made of flowers. ]
Oh, um... Good morning, Princess.

Oh . . . Good morning. [His eyes close and then reopen.] Princess . . . ?

Mhm. You're the sleeping princess right now. Well... not sleeping anymore, sorry. But I think it's nearly time to head back to the castle— the other one, not the one you're in right now...

You're saying I was asleep? How?

no but actually.
slightly less prince charming had found himself here as the stand-in for mithra's actual prince charming (not him), pausing over the fact riri's otome magic is strong enough to counteract the effects of the moon's curse. it's more than enough time for a grasping arm to loop around oz's own, which leaves him leaning over awkwardly over the bed. ]
Mithra.
[ three seconds before he tears this castle down, beauty rest be damned. ]

oz collapses into bed as (forcefully) requested, brow slightly furrowed at the expression on mithra's face. that wouldn't be there if he was awake and conscious, no. it'll be annoying if he wakes, and annoying if he continues to sleep.....
he pushes back. ]
You will regret this.

Ironically, Oz's presence improves the quality of Mithra's sleep. He doesn't dream, but it's restful even as he's being pushed back. It's still a point of contact between them with his arms wound loosely around Oz's, and that combined with a luxurious bed of expensive sheets is enough for his body in its present state.]
