WEEK THREE SCENARIO
ᯓ⭐ WEEK THREE SCENARIO
Today, you will find those signs from last week all over the castle, big red arrows, bright blinking arrows, bold black arrows, all leading you down a corridor to That Golden Door Again.
And there's the sign!
Should you choose to enter, you'll find yourself in the role of a fairy-tale character! All of the classics, maybe some you've never heard before, but it's the same as before. Sort of. You're now in an outfit befitting of your character, the NPCs still have cursed Riri Voices, and some of you may be... well, stuck in some predicaments! Some of you might even have changed forms entirely!
So why not help your homies out? Why not give them a Happily Ever After?
Because you still can't olly out until you get through a scenario, even if that means waiting for someone to kiss you. :)
Once you've achieved a scenario, thinking of leaving the setting entirely will get you back in the castle.
Among the list of scenarios are the following, though players are welcome to also come up with their own:
- Attend The Ball with someone
- Safely make it to Grandmother's House
- Escape the Witch's Candy House
- Free Rapunzel from her tower
- Kiss the sleeping princess
- Kiss the frog
- Just Fucking Kiss
- Perform an underwater musical! (You can breathe, it's fine)
- Conspire to poison someone!
- Save someone from being poisoned!
- Have a dramatic sword fight!
- Do a knightly declaration of love!
And so on.
You can act out the scenarios pertaining to your roles or you know what, maybe Red Riding Hood was evil all along and the Fairy Godmother decided to do a dramatic sword fight, we're not here to judge.

the Feywildthis fairy tale land, on your merry way to the Ball or elsewhere, happening upon the same cute little pond while looking for a cute little scenario. ]Hello, intrerpid— ribbit— princess or prince or adventurer...! What brings you to this lovely little pond?
[ Now where did that tiny voice come from? There's croak-like clearing of one's throat that can be heard coming from somewhere in that pond... where there is a lilac frog with flowers growing out of its skin sitting on a lily pad. ]
Down here! Hi!
no subject
(You'd think they'd have some kinda fairy roadside assistance)
It takes Phoenix a moment to realize someone's talking to him from the pond, and he looks down towards the source - seeing the cutest little frog. He gives a little wave.]
Oh! Hello there... froggy?
no subject
Well met, Princess! Are you on your way to the ball? Heavens, what bad luck, that your carriage broke down here!
[ She is really leaning into this. Ori was completely out of her depth playing out school scenarios last week, but perhaps surprising to no one, the forest mage lady feels right at home in these fairy tale scenarios, especially as a little frog. ]
no subject
Oh, I wouldn't say it's so bad. After all, if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be able to chat with you! I'd say that's a fortuitous encounter.
no subject
[ She gives a lighthearted chuckle, and if the lilac skin and flowers hadn't been enough to convince someone of who the frog really is, the sound of that laugh might, even if it's tinged with a little bit of... frogginess at its edges. ]
Careful, don't sit too close to the pond now - I'd hate to ruin your beautiful gown.

Oh — um...Ori-san? Is that...you?
[ It sounds like her, but she's a lot more amphibious than the last time he saw her! He's suddenly grateful all he got was a bad wig and a dress. ]
no subject
Ori..? You must have me mistaken, Princess! I'm Prince... Ori..on! Prince Orion. Though I'm currently a frog, as you can see, heh.
no subject
Ah, right, my mistake, Prince Orion. And I'm Princess...Rapunzel. [ He's not going to try to mash up his name with that. ] How did you come to be in that form?
[ Cursed by a
hagwitch?? ]no subject
I was cursed, ribbit. By the fae. Maybe even a hag! Who knows?
[ Something like this could've very well happened where she's from, anyway. She would know, even if in this case she really was simply cursed by a fairy... potato. Whatever Riri is. ]
Lovely to meet you, though, Princess Rapunzel. What are you doing out and about like this?

it's when he's walking along, looking for anything that catches his eye that he spots the pond. he's always drawn to water, even when he looks more frosty than usual. he also looks entirely at home in this attire, partially due to his figure, and partially due to the fact that his natural features really do accentuate the whole vibe. and to him, this is basically an overly fancy robe.
he bends down when he hears the tiny call, an amused smile forming on his lips when he sees the frog. even if it weren't for the color, he's still good at sensing presences. ]
Hmm like this, I think I'll be the one giving you a ride instead.
no subject
At The Snow Queen's approach, Frogphi visibly shivers! ]
Brr! Are you trying to freeze my lake over, Your Grace!?
[ As defiantly as she can manage with her little froggy voice. She's pretty into this fairy tale stuff, honestly! She's much more with it than when she was a "jock" at "school." ]
no subject
[ he holds out his palm so she can hop on. ]
no subject
I'm afraid there's no much I can offer as a little frog, I'm afraid, Your Highness! I'm still waiting for a true love's kiss to turn me back into a... handsome prince!
[ If it sounds like she's having a bit of fun in this role of hers, that's because she is. ]

Ori? Is that you?
[ Hello fellow pond resident! Xianyun leans down to peer at her, blinking a few times with disbelief. Well, at least she's not the only one who has been turned into an animal.
(How come Ori can understand her when no one else can? ~Animal magic~ that's why.) ]
One is surprised to see you as a frog.
no subject
But actually - have a slow forggy blink. ]
...Xianyun? One is surprised to see you as a bird! Honestly... I really missed being an animal, so I'm glad I got stuck with this role.
[ SHE MISSED BEING A LITTLE GUY. ]
no subject
[ It must be part of the magic she had taken from her. Unfortunate—Xianyun would be furious to lose that capability in her position. ]
One is only a bird during the daylight hours. Is it similar for you?
no subject
[ Have you ever seen a frog shrug? Now you have! ]
Shifting shapes is something I can normally do, but it was one of the things that the... evil hag took from me - but now the same hag has turned me into a frog! [ Apparently, she's going into character now. ] I can only return to my princely self with a kiss from a princess, but what princess would ever want to kiss a frog?
(no subject)
no subject
it doesn't take too long for oz to clue into what's happening here, given that shapeshifting into animals and other such things isn't out of the norm for him. in fact, this may be the most normal thing that's happened to date.
putting aside making him the prince you get when you order from wish, but that's an aside. ]
Oriphi.
[ ... ]
That is not a dog or a cat.
[ those were the two options she was giving people in the first week, weren't they.... ]
no subject
Well! How do you do, fellow prince?
[ He's got her there, too. She clears her throat, adding with a more hushed tone because she's broken character: ]
I can turn into a frog, too, actually, but this isn't because of me! It happened when I stepped through the door!
no subject
Doing well.
[ is said normally, at a normal volume, in an absolutely normal way and not at all like he's reading from a script.
her whispering is met with his coming closer to hear, taking a look at her carefully. nothing is said, at first, but this is the usual for oz. he doesn't match her whispering when he does speak, though it is a more quiet than usual. just a tad. ]
... I cannot undo this curse.
[ inducing feelings of salt and other things, but that's not important right now. ]
no subject
[ She clears her throat. ]
I'll just have to find someone to kiss me and turn me back into a prince!
no subject
With the enhanced senses of a wolf, it doesn't take long at all for Yukong to find where that voice is coming from. A flower-bedecked frog, rather than a flower-bedecked tiefling. Well, in any case.... ]
I was only wandering the woods.
[ It's clearly Yukong's voice, but with a gruff, more bestial quality to it.
They have to... play along, right? This is easier to do when she's in such a different form. ]
What about you, little frog?
no subject
It is much easier to play along like this, Ori finds, and especially so when she's much more familiar with things like fairy tales than she is with... school. And sports.
By all accounts, a little froggy shouldn't be so friendly with a big bad wolf (perhaps even The Big Bad Wolf) but... this is Yukong, and Ori just can't bring herself to even pretend to be anything but sweet with her. ]
I'm looking for a princess to help me with my curse!
no subject
She may not be familiar with these particular fairy tales, but there is a list of potential "happy endings" in her mind that she's supposed to help out with, so now that she's here, she may as well try.
A princess? A curse? Well, these are universal enough concepts for a child's tale.
She does the dog head tilt thing as she looks over this frog. ]
What sort of curse is that?
no subject
I have to find a princess to kiss me so that I can turn back into the dashing prince that I am!
