WEEK FOUR MINGLE
ᯓ⭐ WEEK FOUR MINGLE
Heya, lovebirds! You're entering the final week and things sure are... great.
Right?
Well, whether you're feeling great or not, you're going to find yourself looking your best in formal wear this week! Suits, gorgeous dresses, fabulously outlandish outfits, you name it, you're stuck in it. No sweatpants or lab coats for anyone this week. We have standards.
And we also believe in telling the truth, one way or another!
That's right, if you're asked a question, any question at all, no matter how innocent or dire, you are compelled to speak your most truthful answer. It could be who you think is the hottest in the castle. It could be your opinion on orange juice. Whatever it is, there is no longer a brain-to-mouth filter in place!
And maybe you'll figure that out and all decide to be merciful, but Riri will be popping up every now and then. And Riri? Riri will not be merciful.
Except for one thing, and that's a note in the main room that states simply: You all suck at this, so this week, our good ol' lesbian duo can now speak normally. You're welcome. ♥

Lin. Would you rather see children coddled, or taught a lesson? [ she can pretty easily tell that he's not talking about actual children. ]
no subject
I think you know which one I'd rather see.
[ Taught a lesson, obviously. ]
Being coddled too much — that's how people become arrogant and irresponsible.
no subject
[ he would defer his vote to the other option if she wanted, he is thankfully, not yomi. but he has his own opinion on the matter, so he smiles. ]
Particularly Gods, as it were.
[ and he does not only mean the divine that are here. ]
no subject
[ She does not care if she gets put in the booth with him... like Uroko, she thinks it might teach him a lesson. ]
Like I said before all of that, I have no problems being matched with him, even now. He's the one that seems to have a problem with me, or with considering being matched with anyone who doesn't fit his personal interests or theory.
no subject
But Zhong Li does not like fish.
[ his smile is wry, because hearing zhong li say all that about the transience of mortals and loneliness sure was a thing. ]
no subject
[ ...Then, he must be uniquely equipped to understand the difficulties and boons that would come from such a relationship. And yet, based on his words, it seems that he was written off for a similarly superficial reason. Sure, they have to think that others are less likely to be matched with them somehow, but thus far, she's not impressed by the logic at use. ]
Is that all he had to say about you?
no subject
And yes. I've written most of the men off because of my physical preference, so excluding a match on one metric can make sense. But in this case, I think he simply dislikes me and is trying to be polite about it.
[ uroko sounds like he could care less, because really it doesn't bother him in the slightest but. hearing what zhong li said to oz, did make him stop and wonder, as unlikely at it is.
uroko and oz vibe for similar reasons. ]
no subject
It's not that I don't think our preferences can have an impact — I just don't trust these producers as far as I can throw them. In your case, you made it clear to us early on that that was influencing your choices. He didn't.
[ Contrary to his nonchalance, she is stern about this. The actual matter of them being matched or not matters little to her, but the lack of urgency and responsibility? That's something else entirely. Then, dryly, comedically: ]
At least you got the "polite" version.
no subject
I wouldn't have minded his insults one way or the other, I might have even preferred it was me and not you.
[ ...he would have preferred that actually because even if he doesn't know Lin well, there's still a strong protective streak that runs through him when it comes to humans. ]
no subject
[ She chuckles too, raising a brow at him. She doesn't know why, but that statement is funny. ]
You're pretty easy going for a god, huh?
no subject
[ he smiles easily. ]
But yes, so I am.
