WEEK FOUR MINGLE
ᯓ⭐ WEEK FOUR MINGLE
Heya, lovebirds! You're entering the final week and things sure are... great.
Right?
Well, whether you're feeling great or not, you're going to find yourself looking your best in formal wear this week! Suits, gorgeous dresses, fabulously outlandish outfits, you name it, you're stuck in it. No sweatpants or lab coats for anyone this week. We have standards.
And we also believe in telling the truth, one way or another!
That's right, if you're asked a question, any question at all, no matter how innocent or dire, you are compelled to speak your most truthful answer. It could be who you think is the hottest in the castle. It could be your opinion on orange juice. Whatever it is, there is no longer a brain-to-mouth filter in place!
And maybe you'll figure that out and all decide to be merciful, but Riri will be popping up every now and then. And Riri? Riri will not be merciful.
Except for one thing, and that's a note in the main room that states simply: You all suck at this, so this week, our good ol' lesbian duo can now speak normally. You're welcome. ♥

[He slides them into position for emphasis. His naturally languid movements lend him a hint of grace as there's confidence where he once lacked experience.]
At the Manor of the Purple Hat, Orange Night, and Black Cat. I learned from gentlemanly skeletons in order to dance with a spirit.

Why am I not surprised? Of course you learned to dance from skeletons and spirits.
[ You know what, that actually makes her chuckle, resting her hand properly where it's meant to be at his shoulder once he puts them both in position. Though, despite her ease with doing that, she looks past him, over his shoulder, rather than directly at him. Her gaze seems far off. ]
Me, I learned the boring way. I might not seem like it now, but I was a rich kid growing up.
[ sure, her mom didn't care much about proper etiquette but Lin had picked it up in youth regardless, having to attend so many official-like gatherings as a child. ]

Then you must've grown up with delicious food.
[This is important.]

That's what you think of first?
[ It's a good thing they're both practiced at this, so they can have this stupid discussion about food. ]
You're not wrong, but that's usually not what people comment on first.

Of course. What else should I be thinking about?
[He didn't grow up rich. He ate anything and everything he could get his hands on and developed an appetite for them that way, but that doesn't mean he can't enjoy good food.]
